HDT & HSV Jackaroo and Jackaroo SE

A Database of Remaining Vehicles and Media

Website update.

Zack here.
I'm all about preserving the history of the HSV's 2 Ugly ducklings. Lately, I’ve been working hard to make the site easier to use and packed with accurate info.

Getting the Facts Right

I’ve been digging through websites, records, brochures, and archives to clear up any factual inacuracies about these vehicles. From verifying production numbers (such as the Build numbers running up to 85 1993 HSV Jackaroos) to listing authentic features and specs, based off the official brochures from both Holden and HSV. I'm making sure what you see on the site is 100% correct.

A Better Experience

Here’s what I’ve improved with the site:

  • Simpler Navigation: It’s easier to find exactly what you’re looking for, whether it’s details about a specific model (now including the HDT build) or media archives.
  • Mobile-Friendly Design: Whether you’re on your phone or computer, the site works smoothly.
  • Database: The database has its own dedicated page.

What’s Next?

This is just the start. I’m always looking for un-documented vehicles, and attempting to be a source for correcting websites that have gotten information wrong in the past, such as Whichcar.com.au, and tradeuniquecars.com.au
