Another known HSV Jackaroo SE has resurfaced, with SE build number 112 now being offered for sale in Bairnsdale, Victoria.
SE #112 is a Cranberry example and has previously been recorded by the archive as a surviving vehicle in Victoria. The latest listing gives us a much better look at the car and, from the available photos, the exterior appears to have survived particularly well.

The Cranberry paint presents very tidily, especially for a Jackaroo of this age. The body and exterior presentation are arguably the strongest parts of the vehicle and make #112 stand out among a number of the surviving SEs that have resurfaced over the years.
Where the car appears to be let down is the interior. However, this may partly come down to how it has been presented in the Marketplace photos. Several of the trim pieces that appear to be missing from their normal positions can be seen sitting on the back seat, suggesting the interior may be more complete than it initially appears. A proper clean and reassembly could change the presentation considerably.

Mechanically, this is also one of the manual SEs, paired with the familiar 3.2-litre V6. According to the seller, the vehicle has recently received a new clutch, while everything apart from the indicators is currently working.
The seller also describes the Jackaroo as having a two-inch lift, long-range fuel tank, bull bar and snorkel. It retains the higher equipment level associated with the SE, including cruise control, electric windows and central locking.
The asking price is $7,500.
SE #112 had previously been recorded by the archive in Victoria, with the last known sighting dating back to Sale in November 2024. Its appearance on the market now provides another opportunity to update the history of the car and confirm that it remains a complete surviving example.

For anyone looking for an HSV Jackaroo SE, there is quite a bit going for this one. The exterior appears unusually tidy, it is a manual, it has recently had clutch work completed, and many of the apparent interior omissions may still be with the vehicle rather than actually lost.
